Kittens and Cats rescued at our London vet clinic

10 November 2009 - Found - Senior black neutered male in Richmond (Guy)

"Guy" was found near Richmond Bridge on 8 November 2009.  We named him after Guy Fawkes because he most likely became disorientated due to the fireworks all week.  Cats are very sensitive to noises and changes in environment so we see lots of cats go missing around this time.

Guy is a very sweet mature male, with some distinctive old fight wounds on his ears and a single white whisker.

He loves his catnip cigar and wet food, and is making himself right at home at Kitten to Cat.

Guy was not micro-chipped so without a lot of help it will be difficult to reunite him with his family.

Because of the fireworks it is possible Guy may have strayed far from his home, so if you know anyone in West London please forward them this video in case it jogs any memories.

(UPDATE 21.11.09 - Guy's owners came in yesterday to pick him up.  A friend of theirs had seen his photo in the local paper.  He is actually called "Sookie" because his previous owners thought he was a she, and he is 17 years old !!!  A nice happy ending.  Thanks everyone for the forwards and re-tweets.)

7 June 2008 - Found - White and Tortoiseshell Moggy in Kew, Richmond (Betsy)

Betsy is a street cat who was brought in by a client who was concerned for her health. Apparently Betsy had been living rough for over 6 months. Betsy was no normal alley cat - she was way too sweet and friendly and clearly once belonged to someone. We had no way of finding her owners but have established that she definately lived in Kew, Richmond about 12 years ago.  Betsy has everything she needs and is quite happy as you can see from the videos below but we would love to reunite her with her family. Please share this with anyone you know who lives in Richmond, used to live in Richmond or who might know someone who does. The more people see them the greater the chances of someone recognizing her.  You can also find more pictures of Betsy on our Facebook Group

(Update 10.11.09) Betsy is well and truly settled into a new loving home.  We never found her original owners but she is now getting all the love and attention she deserves.
